Bengkel Bahasa Malaysia SPM 2011

Human Traffic Jam in the morning

I was the first to arrived at school to wait for the bus to come and bring us to the Universiti Malaya, where the bengkel is held. On the way to school, spotted allot of red cones, police mens, soldiers on the side of the street. My first thoughts were Accident? Crime? Investigation? After moving on, then more and more people on the street appears and they were running - it was a marathon. Some students were a little late, because the runners are blocking the street even though the traffic light is green and the cars are horning. When the bus arrived, picked all of us and then take off, we were blocked by another huge wave of human traffic - but luckily the bus drivers are pros. 

I did not pay for this

The first two lectures were Komsas and Tatabahasa, given by Puan Mumtaz. Many participant who pay RM 108 for this bengkel is because they were mesmerized by the presentation given by Encik Thuraiveloo - the indian teacher who is a BM teacher for about 23 years - at school including me. The lectures on Komsas and Tatabahasa was not as great as the lecture given by Encik Thuraiveloo, Karangan and Rumusan. A student said: "I pay for this just to hear the Karangan and Rumusan." Another said: "The Komsas and Tatabahasa lectures was like my BM teacher teaching me, so boring till I can sleep." But at least, she showed us some inspiring videos, including Nick Vujicic's video - which is one of my favorite.

Two more reviews of this bengkel: "I think I wasted half of the RM 180, because of the 1st teacher." "Half is regretted and wasted, but the another half is SUPER WORTH IT!!!!" Truly, Encik Thuraiveloo's system is worth the money, I am satisfied with the bengkel, well spent! Regret are those who did not came!

Cheapalak Food

We paid RM 10 for transportation and RM 98 for the lecture including notes, file and FOOD. The food is horrible, bihun + little strips of eggs + drinnk for breakfast, nasi kuning + chicken + watermelon + drink for lunch and 1 karipap + 1 doughnut + drink for tea break. Very cheap malay food, though the hosts are indians. But the chicken is nice with it's sauce! 

Money, Money, Money

Even though we have pay for the cheap food, they still want to earn money by selling junk food. Candies, chocolate and also water bottle. Genius plan, almost every seminar uses this plan, up selling. I shall take note, very effective! 

Ramalan / Predictions for SPM BM 2011

Encik Thuraiveloo gave allot of great techniques on how to create karangan and also rumusan, very very good system plan he came out with his experiences of teaching of about 23 years. He is the best BM teacher I ever saw, such great intellect and humor. He gave predictions for SPM, although he said not to tell your friends and just said "I dunno" with a blur face, but still maybe I will share some with you. Not now though, stay tuned. :)
